'84 ASSEMBLY
With Sincere Appreciation
The 84 Assembly was a success! The Philadelphia Cluster
Chapters are responsible, to a large degree, for that success.
They worked for four years preparing to entertain their Sister
Links and to entertain with style and class. This, they did!!
The night out at the Bourse was elegant to say the least-
we all thank them for making us all feel so special and so
welcome.
Kudos to Link Rachel Hill and the Eastern Area for the
exciting trip to Atlantic City. The bus rides were fun. This
was one of the few opportunities we had to sit back, relax
and just enjoy; the ice carvings spectacular; the food beau-
tiful and delicious. We will not comment on the one-armed
bandits or the gaming tables!! Even so. we sure had fun and
we do thank the Eastern Area for a fabulous gala!
Outgoing Officers
We lovingly thank our outgoing national officers for shar-
ing with Linkdom their skills, concern and commitment. Each
has. in her own unique way, made a deep and lasting con-
tribution to the growth and development of our organiza-
tion-
Link Thelma Hardiman-Vice President
Link Ruth "Teena' Williams-Recording Secretary
Link Leatrice Pride-Treasurer
We salute you and we thank you. May God bless and keep
each of you.
Incoming Officers
We welcome to the national Executive Council the newly
elected national Officers. We extend to each open arms of
friendship to enfold and protect. As a part of the "national
team" we look forward to working with each of you.
Link Regina Jolivette Frazier-Vice President
Link Dolores Albury-Recording Secretary
Link Sara Butler-Treasurer
When Link Regina Frazier was elected National Vice Pres-
ident she was serving as Director of the Southern Area. Her
Vice Area Director, Link Martha Boone will now serve as
Southern Area Director. By virtue of her office Link Boone
now becomes a member of the Executive Council. We wel-
come her and look forward to having her on the team.
We also welcome to the Executive Council Link Adrienne
Jones of the Cleveland Chapter. Link Jones will replace Link
Jacqueline Bontemps as Director of the Arts. We thank Link
Bontemps for her contributions to Linkdom and wish her
well.
