TO THE PUBLICt
After a little more tbau one
Years' service rendered to you
• as your County Judge, 1 agaiu
niu asking you to re-elect me
Md your County Judge. I do
tnis after careful consideration
t?f tUe needs of the county, and
of the-services already reudered
ivj vott by me.
On coming into tbe ofliso Jun.
lit, 1923, I at once made a thor-
ough and complete investigation
into the affaire of tbe county in
order that I might be able to
.ibtelMgeutly admiuister the bus
bless of tbe county, and in so
doing 1 determined that the
most pressing need at the time
was the institution ot business
principles in the conducting of
tbe County aud Commissioners
Courts. 'Therefore, I put into
effect a complete cbeckiug ays-
tern of nit moneys collected or
paid oat by tbe Court, and in so
(tain? 1 have been successful in
detecting and preventing many
errors, saving to the tax payers
of tbe county hnndreds of dol-
lars.
With tbe help and splendid co-
operation of each member of the
| fcourt we have striven in eve
rv way possible to reduce expen
dvturesand to gi\e tbe people
full value for each dollar of their
money spent by tbe conrt, iu
this way we have paid in full
f\tr the Hubbard bridge on Sul-
phur, and only like $S,000.00
having the Puces Ferry Bridge
paid for. We retired $50,000 00
|-j« County rond bonds thereby
i eaving to the people a nice sum
of interest each year. We bought
for the county tha Bridge War-
rants of tbe county at a saving
ot several hundred dollars.
In Jan. 1023 the general fund
of the County was in debt about
$19,000 00. This by strict ecou
amy aud adherence to business
principles has been reduced to
about eleven thousand.
Knowing as I do that I am in
tho employment of tbe people 1
feel that 1 am at all times ac-
countable k) them for the service
I render and the manner in
which T render same.
Therefore,! at all time invite
the counsel aud advice of the
jwople as a whole and ask that
each of you feel iree to approach
me at any time tor a lull, free
and trank discussion of the coun-
ty and its many problems.
Should1 you by your ballots re
elect me 1 shall in tbe future as
jit the past give-to you in service
the best that it is iu my power
to give. Yours Truly,
8am L. Henderson.

Life
"When chonjje of
on me," ts?.ys Mrs. Lewis
Lislier, of Lamar, Mo., "I
suffered so v/ith womanly
weakxiew. I suffered a great
deal of pain in my back and
sides. My limbs would cramp.
I didn't feel like doing my
work, and there are so many
steps for a woman to tnke on
a larm. I was very anxious
to get better. A friond rec-
ommended
The Woman's Tonic
to me and I began using it.'
I certainly improved. I went
through chaiige of life with-
out any trouble. I can highly
liefcommend Cardui."
At the age of about 40 to
60 every woman has to pass
through a critical time, which
is called the Change of Life.
At this time, great changes
take place in her system,
causing various painful and
disagreeable symptoms;
