letters. So Bill and Ell Mathis i s both Ded. El I was heare the
day they made tom mar tins coffin and was looking Red and well and
in a short time they brought him up and burried him.
Jo the had a fine May Dinner at Griffin th first and speaches.
Will i am gave them a Speach. So did Carrells ol di s Girl and boy
and Sevrel 1 others. a nice time tho I did not go. the Rest all
went. they wanted me to fiddle for them and I never felt we ll
that day and I never went for I knew what I would have to go
though wi th so I laid at home. Singing last Sunday up there land
Dinner on the ground. John Carrell wanted to come after me with
buggi e tho I rather Stay at home and play marbles. I have a
large set and a fine yard to p1ay on and I play ever Sunday. 12
of us playing last Sunday was a week.
we have had too much rain Jo and I guess you all have to.
Will i am is helpping Pa this week . he has the western fever and I
think he will quit School and go be fore long. l ike all boys has
no sence ti 11 it is too late to learn.
