Well Jo did I ever tell you how Louis Char l ey and Lul er fought
the first day at dinner here. I will tell you. the old lady
Killed a chicken for Dinner and we had eat. So they went and
Started. Ask Charley what peace of chickin he liked. Said it
made no Diffrence, he amed to eat all of it enney way. Luler
said he would not un less he was the best man. Louis Said he was
to have a pice of it. Charley Sais no. Louis taken 2 peaces.
Charley taken one back. Louis throwed a bisket at Charley and he
caught i t in his mouth and chawed i t up li ke a pea. Luler threw
a glass of water at Charley and they began to tumble over the
table. I told the old man it was comon for them to do that way
and they finished and came in Seamed to be satisfide with what
they had done.
lots of big dinners up here Jo and singings, come up tell Louis
and Bud If they w ill come up to the Campground Dinner and w i ll
ri te to me. I w i ll find out the day and write to them when it
wi ll be. big barbacue at New Salem before long tho I cant go to
