Dear Friend
Yours to hand a few days ago and glad to here from you. this
leaves all well as usual . no news. Bill Sanders died a few days
ago, I think since I wrote,
crops looks well up here, some has some large amt to plow & is
plowing i t. at Lone Star others just planting. McMichel 1 is
done planting cotton I think. he's most two soon. crops is
verry uneaven so far. It's raining here to day and stoped me
from my work.
I have been selling two weeks a Round East of Troupe and in the
Concord naborhood and made better sales than ever before for
trees from this man I work for is now bare ing and gives
satisfaction and are in grate demand, tell Ever body you see
wai t. I wi 1 1 be down there in May or June or sooner and will be
pleased to have there orders and garent tee satisfaction when
they come or do not ask any pay. If they are not fine as I say
we do not ask any to pay for them. I have a large scope of
countrie to work: before I can get there. should any agent come
in, hold there orders for me, all that has any Ide of byinq. I
know my trees wiIll come true to name. peaches up here is bare ing
at two year old and Pares blooming the second year they are set
out. I'm now selling a May pare that is a fine thing to raise.
I cant bring my old lady down Jo. she has planted five acres in
cotton and has a potato patch and other paches and she will have
all she can do. I come home once and awhi le for her to plow her
crop. I bring her when I can. you all come and see us when you
can. I have Aunt here to take care of and have no (way) to come
only in the buggy and we all could not come in that so I'l1 close
hopeing this may find you all well and i njoying you selves. i'm
