nated the use of the hall, the call-
el's do not. charge, so the only ex-
pense will be the band. The rest
of the gate receipts will go to the
Shackelford county March of
Dimes fund.

business in 1051 than in the prev-
ious year, according to Postmaster
Bruce Bray.

The ranchers committee, spon-
sbring the 1-H Club calf show, met
| last week and set prizes to be of
■ fered in the various classes of the
I 1-H Club calf show, scheduled for
j Saturday Feb. 23. The show will
be at the bus garage at the high
I school, and judging will be done
(on the football field.
There will be three classes of
calves: Heavy, light and milk fed,
and winners in each class will re-
ceived the .following prizes: 1st,
|$25; 2nd, $20; 3rd, $15; 4th, $10;
I and 5th place, $5.
Grand champion prize will be
$100.00, and reserve champion
i $50.00.
There will be two classes of
pigs, 100 to 200 pounds, and 2001
pounds and over. I'rizes offered
for winners will be: 1st, $4; 2nd,
$3; 3rd, $2; 4th, 5th and 6th, each
$1. No pigs will be entered under
100 pounds.
Champion will receive $7.00 and
reserve $3.00.
There will also be two classes of
fa pons: light and heavy. 1st prize
in each class will be $1; 2nd, $2;
and 3rd, $1.00.
