We have been in Tampa, Flor-
ida since Octover 11th, so we
are missing all snow and foul
weather at home plate in Mich-
igan.
Received a card from New
Orleans, La., saying: "This
would be a great town for a
12th A.D. reunion — followed by
a trip to Hit Springs to dry out
the booze!! See you in Cleve-
land in 1969. Dick and Betty
Bucy."
The association received dues
and a Hellcat Booster donatio;!
from Sam I. White of Norfolk.
Virginia with the following note:
"Sorry I missed the convention.
Look forward to reading all a-
bout it."
Heard from faithful Bombv
Bcmbasaro: "Well the year is
going real fast. I do hope a~>d
pray that this letter finds you
in the very best of health and
spirits. I have been working sev-
en days a week, and it's too
much. Starting Monday, Avon
Inn will close on Mondays, and
I'm sure glad. Soon will be
World Series time and that means
winter. I hate it more each year.
Starting to get the reunion lined
r.p. I do hope we have a good
turn out. Take good care of each

other — keep up the good work
George, and maybe we can win
2 mother Oscar. Bomby.
Jean and Joe Beltrame were
missed at the last reunion, but
accordng to word they sent
Bomby, they have been very
busy. First of all Jean was hos-
ptalized for removal of a throat
tumor, then daughter Diana was
married in August, and son, Joe,
received his degree from Car-
bondale, all this and dealer's
meet'ngs in various parts of the
country. Let's hope we see the
Beltrame family in Cleveland.
Another nice letter: "I think
i! is about time I wrote that
letter. We sure had a wonder-
ful time nt the reunion and arc
looking forward to Cleveland
next year. Boy. thos? Tigers
came through in great style, I
rooted for them al! the way.
My 14 venr old son, DeWayne,
and I have been archery hunt-
ing for white tail deer the past
four weeks. We didn't have any
luck, nor did we see many deer
this year. I phoned two fellows
that live in our borough that
were in the 12th. Would you be-
lieve that they never knew we
had a 12th Association, or that
we had reunions? It's hard to
believe. They are Joseph S. Mar-
cellino, 235 9th Street, West Eas-
ton, Pennsylvania 18042, and Ken-
neth F. Todd, 2414 Hay Street,
Easton, Pennsylvania 18042. Char-
lie. Heck left the hotel room, Sat-
urday night of the reunion, and
!v forgot his shirt. I'll mail it
to him for a Christmas present.
The pictures 1 took at the re-
union came out good, even the
picture of Ed (Brovic) the Hip-
py. On the way home Sunday
from the reunion, my wife and
I saw the Phillies play. The fol-
ic wing week we received a let-
ter from Wally (Majava) and
his wife. She said she couldn't
keep Wally awake on the way
home from the reunion to share
the driving. She had to do most
of it. Good old Wally! Lots of
good wishes, Roland and Ann
Rickert" I'm saving a letter from
Ed Brovic until next month.
My best for all of you.

PHILLY REUNION WAS
"GAY $90 WEEKEND"
The Philadelphia reunion had
billed a "Roaring 20's" Friday
night party that was a howling
success. However, in the making,
was another great production be-
ing filmed that weekend using
our reunion as a location. Al
Lipschultz and Lou Koci were
clicking cameras with our 12th
Armd. Div. reunioners as the
cast of characters.
And the payoff? The sum of
$90.00 has been turned over to
Treas. Hardony as the profits
from their labors.
To Al. Lipschultz and Lou Koci
we all say thanks many times
over - - at least 90 times!
