CANCER CUBED

LIFE SAVED
By the Persistent Use of
Ayer's Sarsaparilla
"I was troubled for years with a
sore on my knee, which several
physicians, who treated me, called a
cancer, assuring me that nothing
could be done to save my life. As
a last resort, I was induced to try
Ayer's Sarsaparilla, and, after tak-
ing a number of bottles, the sore

health improve. I persisted in this
treatment, until the sore was en-
tirely healed. Since then, I use
Ayer's Sarsaparilla occasionally as
a tonic and blood-purifier, and, in-

keep house without it."—Mrs. S. A.

Attractive
We try to make our adver-
tisements attractive. We
want to get every reader of
this paper to look at what we
have to say day by day. Our
store is different from other
stores, and we want the ads
to be different.
We propose to use this
space to the mutual advant-
age of our customers and our
selves. There will be bar-
gains mentioned here—real
bargains. We will try and
make this department as in-
teresting as the local news.
Did You Ever
Feel This Way
alter buying
foot wear? Did the dealer
say you wejre getting a great
bargain? And did you have
to take that "bargain" to the
cobbler to be half-soled in
about three weeks after it
was bought?
All shoes will wear out, of
course, but the kind sold by
the best dealers wear the
longest. We do everything
we can to entile us to be call-
ed "the best dealers."

CHARITY
Well placed charity is wor-
thy of all praise. But,
stange as it may seem, the
Clothier who sells poor cloth-
es at the bottom of much
charity.
Perhaps you have noticed
that the wife of the man who
buys "cheap" clothes is the
freest giver. "Cheap" gar-
ments only last a short time,
and it keeps her pretty busy
handing out her husband's
discarded clothes.
Those who buy of us don't
have many old tlothes to give
away, but they have more
money in their pockets to de-
vote to charity if so inclined.
