a.y Opportunities for Money Saving at
The list of attractions in stock and prices were never greater or better around this section. We will place the facts before you and let you
do your own figuring and see if you don’t come out ahead every time by trading at Getz’s Store.
These are undisputed facts. It’s rather surprising to everybody why Getz’s business is growing all the time and the others are not. Your
neighbors answer, “It’s just because he treats the people right; he never disappoints a single one in his advertisements; he keeps the quality up and
the prices down and he is always ready and willing to extend any accommodation you may ask of him within reason; he is the fairest man that I
have ever dealt with. Why should not 1 or anybody else that wants to save money and be treated right trade with him ?”
Getz will save you up enough money on the goods in a short time that you could afford to take a nice trip to the World’s Fair.
Read the various offers and see if they are not interesting to you.

paper you have me classed with
the bums who pay no poll tax.

LLANO IRON FROM RUSK.
Unusually Low Rate Granted on Iron
Ore from Llano Field.
Austin, Tex., May 17. The
raiirofd commission today ap-
proved a joint application for an
unusually low rate on iron ore
from Llano and vicinity to Rusk.
The rate authorized is $2 per
ton of 2,000 pounds, and the au-
thority permits the movement
over three lines of railroad,
Houston & Texas Central from
Llano to Houston, Houston East
& West Texas from Houston to
Lufkin and then by the Cotton
Belt to Rusk.
Since the state operates the
only iron furnace at Rusk, it is
presumed that the iron is to be
smelted in that plant, which is in
the East Texas penitentiary.
The papers on file with the
commission do not state for what
purpose the ore is to be shipped
or for whom. It is possible that
there are to be extended and
thorough tests of the iron from
Llano with a view of extensive
developments. It is thought
that the state has sufficient ore
on the penitentiary lands near
Rusk for the furnace and there-
fore is not interested in the im-
portation of outside ore. The
furnace at Rusk penitentiary has
been found to be a success as far
as being able to smelt the ore,
and it seems that it is to be given
a chance to work on outside iron
ore.
1 raveling is Dangerous.
Constant motion jars the kid-
leys which are kept in place in
,he body by delicate attachments.
Phis is the reason that travel-
ers, train men, street car men,
teamsters and all who drive very
nuch, suffer from kidney dis-
ease in some form. Foley's Kid-
ley Cure strengthens the kid-
leys and cures all form of kid-
ley and bladder disease. Geo.
E. Hausan, locomotive engineer,
Lima, O., writes: “Constant vi-
oration of the engine caused me
i great deal of trouble with my
kidneys, and I got no relief until
[ used Foley’s Kidney Cure.”

A Positive Necessity.
Having to lay on my bed for 14
days from a severely bruised
leg, I only found relief when I
used a bottle of Ballard’s Snow
Liniment. I can cheerfully re-
commend it as the best medicine
for bruises ever sent to the af-
flicted. It has now become a
positive necessity upon myself.

Six New Ones.
At the I. & G. N. shops, under
the superintendency of Mr. Huf-
smith, six new locomotives are be-
ing built from the ground up. It
is not generally known that
these monster masters of the rail
are constructed in Palestine, but
it is a fact. Some of the best lo-
comotives doing duty on this
road were built right here. The
shops have turned out a total of
thirty locomotives.—Palestine

Cured His Mother of Rheumatism
“My mother has been a suffer-

tism,” says W. H. Howard, of
Husband, Pa. “At times she
was unable to jnove at all, while
at all times walking was painful.
I presented her with a bottle of
Chamberlain’s Pain Balm and
after a few applications she de-

An Open Letter.
From the Chapin, S. C., News:
Early in the spring my wife and
I were taken with diarrhoea and
so severe were the pains that we
called a physician who prescrib-
ed for us, but his medicines
failed to give any relief. A
friend who had a bottle of Cham-
berlain’s Colic, Cholera and
Diarrhoea Remedy on hand gave
each of us a dose and we at once
felt the effects. I procured a
bottie and before using the en-
tire contents we were entirely
cured. It is a wonderful remedy
and should.be found in every
household. H. C. Bailey, Editor.
