Car Jack Slips
Freddie E. Evans, 19, a native
of Shamrock, was killed about
11 a.m. Sunday when a ear on
which he was working slipped
from a jack and crushed him
between the frame of the auto
and the pavement.
Voung Evans was pronounced
dead on arrival at North Plains
Hospital in Borger, shortly af-
ter the accident. Death was at-
tributed to a fractured skull.
The accident occurred in Borger,
where Evans lived in the home ot
his employer, J E. Abel. 1311 Clay-
ton. Evans was employed in Pampa
at a furniture company owned by
Abel.
