Burned to Death.
Mrs M. K. Witt, wife of profes-
sor Witt, principal of the Comanche
high school was burned to death
abbot nine o'clock Wednesday morn-
ing. Mrs. Witt had tilled a smooth-
ing iron with gasoline, setting the
vessel down she lighted a match
which exploded the gasoline saturat-
ed air and the gasoline io the vessel,
setting her clothes on tire. She ran

consumed her clothing and her skin, j

about three o'clock that afternoon.
