From This Side
of the
Tracks
by Lillian Moore
Did you know when it
comes to Knee health and
strenght the muscles in the
back of your thigs call the ham-
strings, the hamstrings in a
group of 3 muscles that stretch
from your hip to your knees,
the Hamstring make it possible
for us to walk, sit, stoop and
climb stairs, remember the
hamstring is a very important
peace of body equipment.
It appears from the road
the farmers are staying busy
and the cotton crops are very
good as big Daddy would say
I hope the price is good when
its selling time.
I’m sure church service
was spirit filled as Bro. Wiley
shared the Word with the Gali-
lee Church family. I was spe-
cial guess at St. John in Dallas
with mv daughter Rubv, Pam,
Nicole. Bro. Neil message
thene was “If the Dead could
come back to talk to youy,” I
say they can but we don’t lis-
ten to the dead or the living.
As we check the sick list:
Charlie Jordan is now home re-
covering, Daven Marshall the

senior from Idalou, Freddie

ing daily, Uncle Buddy is back

There were lots of Special
guess every where for Thanks-
giving. Pam ask every one to
state what they were thankful
for before we ate, these are just
a few things stated: Love of
God, family and friends, good
health, A job and a car to get to
and from where ever need be.
The Spread was at Ruby
and Jessie we enjoyed every
bite did you? We all had a safe
trip, back home.
Well how did your Black
Friday shopping go? There are
a lots of tired feet still I bet but
it might have been a blessing
for some to have their Christ-
mas shopping half over.
Blumper or Blurper was
getting up this morning by the
old time so I been up since 4
a.m. now its 9:30 a.m. just had
a few things on my mind I think
you understand we all have tht
problem now and then.
“What’s In Your Bucket?”
If you were walking from
a well carrying a bucket of
water and someone jostled you,
there could be spilled from the
bucket only that which it con-
tained.
As you walk along the path
of life, people are constantly
bumping into you. I your life is
full if ukk batyrem babd
tenoerm abd ugly disposition,
those things will be spilled from
it. If it so so full of proper
Christian spirit, you will spill a
smile or a pleasant remark. You
can spill from your bucket only
that which it contains.
Lord, help us be encour-
aged by Praying for our friends
in need; and give us
apportunities to show them love
in word and deed. Amen
