“In seeking this responsible

as an administrator. I recognize
the demands of the' office and
the honor which attaches to it.

The council, also will be called
upon to give further study to the
city’s solicitors ordinance. There
have been complaints the ordi-
nance, calling for a $25 fee every
60 days, is too costly. There like-
ly will be suggestions to make
tlie fee $25 for the year.
Another problem to face the
council at tonight’s meeting is
the request 'for annexation of
the new George Washington Car-
ver negro elementary school. A
petition was approved by the last
school board meeting.
k~At present the new school lo-
cated in northeastern Edna, is
separated from the city limits by
one block.
