Notes

Letter text: "Ringgold Barracks, Oct. the 26th, 1864. Dear Brother, I write you this few lines to inform you that I am well and I hope at the same time that you are enjoying good health it is a long time that I have not received a letter from home for a long time. I do not know when I can get a forlough [sic]. I am waiting for my company to go home. Your Truly Brother, Blas Gortari."
