The music class of Mrs. Mae
Burks gave a recital and Japa-
nese operetta at the High School
auditorium Tuesday night to a
large audience. Everybody was
well pleased and her friends
showered her with congratula-
tions and have many nice things
say about the entertainment
general. Mrs. Burks always
makes good on such occasion.

I lost a cloaed face gold watch,
aize 16 at Gustine picnic grounds
on Friday the 16th. It had at-
tached to it a leather fob with
"Hamilton Nat’l Bank” on one
aide of charm and "John Hodge”
on other side.

day when she will return home.
