Carelessness Causes Death
I hfre are many causes of disease, suffering and death, but none that equals
that of down right carelessness. We desire to call your attention to that caused
by carelessness transmission Most people are much worried about their chil-
dren catching some disease by direct contact with those who are s.ck They
make no pretentions to guard against the same disease by careless transmission.
The shildren are kept at home all the time, the windows and doors almost sealed
against the night air, while the chief cause of the transmission of contageous di-
seases is never thought of or guarded against
It is a known fact that typhoid fever, scarlet fever, small pox and measles
arc just as liable to be transmitted by the common house fly as by direct con-
tact. Yellow fever, it is now known, is the result from the mosquito bite. The
house fly visits all kinds of places where disease germs arc thick. He leave-, that
place of death dealing troubles and goes into your home. Why not guard against
that horrible pest?
A Little Screen Wire
will do much toward keeping him out of the house. FLY I RAPS at the closet-,
barns and outbuildings will assist you to keep him housed up. hLY PAPER and
POISON will also have a telling effect. Why not expend a few cents in preventa-
tive* and save many dollars in medicines, doctor bills and lost time and avoid no
end of sufferinrj?
