O' yourself by your boot strap. There
is no easy way then to secure goods
for a less figure than can be sup-
plied by the experienced business
man of Ladonia.
Perhaps nothing ia- studied any
closer than the retailing of mer-
chandise and you can safely figure
that your live home merchant is
working hard to secure the best of
merchandise to place before his cus-
tomers at the lowest possible figure
consistent with sound business prin-
ciple. And in this day of keen com-
petition there are few business men
»who do not run close to the dan-
Wirer line in fixing prices that will at-
tract trade and meet competition
anywhere.
It is only necessary to use com-
mon sense in dealing with these
problems the field is open to all
who may wish to enter any line of
business. And if there were big
profits to be made that condition
which would not last for every op-
ening for business is carefully search
ed out and competition has reduced
everything to the level to the low-
est possible prices.

WIND, RAIN AND HAIL
DAMAGE LAST THURSDAY
it is needless to say as long as this
condition exists around your place
you will be bothered with mosqui-
toes. Besides when junk and other
filth is allowed to remain it makes
fine breeding places for flies. This
all leads up to sickness that might
otherwise be avoided.
Not only does this clean up ap-
ply to the homes of Ladonia but
it is very important that the busi-
ness men see to it that they clean
up at the rear of their stores and
not allow waste matter to remain.
Once you give your place a good
clean up it is no trouble to keep it
that way. Commence now to make
Ladonia a cleaner and more sanitary
town, and a healthier place in which
to live. It should be done.
