Of John Kemp Lytle Saturday
In an afternoon ceremony
Saturday, Mias Ruth Kay
Galjour became the bride of
John Kemp Lytle at St
Mary's Star of the Sea Cath-
olic Church.
The bnde ia the daughter
of Mr and Mrs Oscar Gal-
jour and the groom is the
aon of Mrs Evelyn K. Lytle
and Francis Kemp Lytle, all
of this city.
The vows were taken at
Nuptial Mass with Rev
Charles Doherty reading the
double ring ceremony. The
wedding music was render-
ed by Mrs William Brtdger
of Portland and she accom-
panied Mrs Billy Hoekinson
and Peter Cheaney, who aang
The setting for the cere-
mony was formed with bas-
kets of white gladioli, white
stock and lemon lead on eith-
er side of the altar. Two prin-
cess baskets of the asune flow-
er combination were placed
at either side of the sanc-
tuary.
White Satin
The bride, given in mar-
riage by her father, wore a
gown of delustered satin styl-
ed with Southern Belle skirt
attached to a Bateau neck
line bodice having long fit-
ted sleeves ending in points
at the hands. Apptiqued Alen-
con lace embroidered with
seed pearls and iridescent se-
quins trimmed the neckline
and the bottom of the skirt.
Tiers of the beaded lace, ap
pliqued to silk organaa form-
ed the beck with graduated
ruffles ending in a cathedral
train.
Her waist length veil of
silk Illusion was held by a
pearl tiara with insets of lace
medallions She carried a
Present shaped bouquet of
white catalla orchids, stapha-
notia, cymbidium orchids and

matching brocade hat and ac-
cessories Both wore corsages
of two white cymbidium or-
chids.
Following the wedding, a
reception waa held at Live
Oak Country Club. The
bride’s table eras skirted In
white organdy, centered with
a compote arrangement of
green fugi mums, white but-
terfly rooes and silver leath-
er M resting on a mirror
surrounded by srhite cupids
and urns bolding white tap-
ers. The four tiered wedding
cake was accended with green
leaves and topped with a mi-
niature bride and groom
The groom’s table was laid
with ecru linen cutwark cloth
and a silver champagne foun-
tain formed the centerpiece.
The cake was a wadding ring
of German chocolate confec-
tion.
Silver and crystal appoint-
ments were used. Tee girls

Saturday evening at the First
Methodist Church, Miss Lin-
da Fischer became the bride
of Larry Randall Belcher of
Port Aransas.
The bride is the daughter
of Mr and Mrs. Joseph P
Fischer of Ingleside and the
groom is the son of Mr. and
Mrs. Joe Belcher of Port Ar-
