For the first time ever visitors of the Bible
Lectureship can hear the perspectives of
students.
fl Three student preachers have been selected
to speak each day throughout Lectureship at
the Chapel on the Hill.
On Monday Trey Finley senior youth and
family ministry major from Longvlew will
speak at 2 p.m. Finley works as director of
Spring Break Campaigns and die senior Sing
Song act. He is also a member of the singing
group Reflections and is of the mens social
club Gamma Sigma Phi.

Deaf ministry lectures during
Dible Lectureship will fea-
ture five speakers instead of the
usual three of years past.
The speaker on Monday will be
Loyd Williams the first deaf per-
son in the Church of Christ who
has served as a foreign mission-
ary to the deaf.
Williams a former ACU stu-
dent has become a renown
teacher and leader for the deaf.
Williams currently serving at
Champions Church of Christ in
Houston has worked with deaf
people in about 30 countries and
travels every year.
He will conduct three classes
Monday on counseling the dear
how to establish a deaf ministry
and conflict resolution among
the deaf and hearing.
Three speakers will conduct
separate classes on Tuesday. Dr.
Jerry Drennan professor of
industrial technology will teach
one class on the mission of the
deaf church. Alice Caughfleld a
former staff member of ACU will
teach a class about the roles of
women in deaf ministry. David
Bush elder at South 11th and
Willis Church of Christ in
Abilene will discuss results of a
survey about deaf missions.
Caughfleld is a former member
of the South 11th and Willis
Church of Christ and has worked
with the deaf for many years. She
lias participated in at least three
mission trips and works with sin-
gle andor older women.
