February 1992For Oral Trauma...
Often confused with Candida, hairy
leukoplakia is a "whitish, slightly raised lesion
that appears on the side of the tongue," and is
"thought to be related to Epstein-Barr Virus
[EBV] infection." 1
EBV, which can lie dormant in the lymph
glands, is the cause of one of the two types of
mononucleosis. The cause of the other is CMV.
EBV infects primarily the mouth, nose, and
throat and is highly contagious.
Hairy leukoplakia can be controlled by a
DBC product called Violeta de Genciana (Ole!).
This stuff is a purple liquid that if applied 3
times daily, should get results.

DBC is now offering RELIV nutritional
products in response to requests for a balanced sup-
plement which will meet nutritional demands for
strong immune systems and assist in weight control.
RELIV was developed by Dr. Ted Kilogris,
formerly of the World Health Organization, who con-
cluded that the composition of food consumed was
deficient as a result of pesticides, additives, preserva-
tives, antibiotics, steroids, and premature harvesting
of fruits and vegetables. Dr. Kilogris found that con-
sumption of such by-products weakened our bodies'
immune function and created unnecessary lethargy.
Dr. Kilogris specialized in hematology and
microbiology, and invested over ten years in re-
searching and developing the RELIV product. RELIV
is the first food supplement to be awarded United
States patent approval.
DBC is selling Ultrim-Plus, which was devel-
oped for both weight loss and weight gain. For weight
gain, Ultrim-Plus is to be taken two or three times a
day, with or after meals. RELIV Ultrim-Plus provides
whole, balanced nutritional supplementation void of
binders, preservatives, artificial colors or sugars. It is
highly economical ($37 per month, plus $10 if shipping
is required) and will replace multi-vitamin supple-
ments currently used. Furthermore, your satisfaction
is unconditionally guaranteed.
Our bodies contain an incredible array of
chemicals, minerals, trace-elements and vitamins.
Healthy immune systems require the addition of mi-
cronutrients which are missing from food. Recent
studies reported in U.S. News and World Report claim
that a significant percentage of the U.S.A. population
consumes less than 65% of the recommended daily
allowances of key nutrients. DBC is pleased to pro-
vide this exceptional product line containing vitamins,
minerals, amino acids, essential fatty acids, trace ele-
ments, and herbs.
