for the Bobby Luttrell family. The
family lost everything in a tragic
house fire Sunday morning.

on National Doctor's Day, March 30,1999.
For their leadership of our nursing staff in help-
ing us achieve the high level of health care that
we provide to our residents, we present:
Pulkit K. Patel. M.D.
Medical Director
Dr. Patel received his medical degree in 1989
from the Government Medical College, Surat,
India and completed and internal medicine
residency at Newark Beth Israel Medical Cen-
ter in Newark, New Jersey. He is board certi-
fied in Internal Medicine in Texas and Ala-
bama.
Dr. Patel enjoys playing chess, reading, com-
puters, movies and watching all sports.
David S. Salas, M.D.
Rehabilitation Medical Director
A graduate of Southeastern Oklahoma
State University in Durant, Dr. Salas en-
tered medical school at the University of
Oklahoma college of Medicine, Oklahoma
Health Services Center and earned his
Doctor of Medicine degree in 1986. His
post graduate work was completed at St.
Francis Regional Medical Center, Family
Practice Training Program in Wichita Kan-
sas. He is Licensed in Texas and Board
Certified by the American Board of Family
Practice.
Dr. Salas enjoys fishing, hunting, fitness
training, scuba diving and reading.
A sincere thanks and appreciation is extended to all the dedicated physicians
who work with our Medical Directors and Nursing staff at Red River Health
care. Your professionalism, prompt service, and attention to the needs of our
residents and staff make it possible for us to continue to provide the level of care

and Pam Beers all of Clarksville,
proudly announce the engagement
and approaching marriage of their
children, Molliejean Frances Smith
and Brent Anthony Beers.
The couple will exchange vows in
a double ring ceremony Saturday,
April 10, 1999 at five o'clock in the
afternoon at the DeShong Chapel on
the Paris Junior College Campus. A
reception will follow at the PJC Stu-
dent Center Ballroom. All friends
and family are invited to attend. No
invitations will be sent.
The bride-to-be is the granddaugh-
Faulkner of Clarksville and Ray and
Betty Smith of Detroit. She is a 1995
graduate of Clarksville High School,
enrolled in the nursing program at
PJC, and is employed by the Watson.
W. Wise Dialysis Center in Paris.
Her fiancd is the grandson of W.L.
and the late Dorothy Gene Beers and
Odessa Beers of the Lone Star Com-
munity and Robert E. and Shirley
Bazar of Lufkin, Texas. He is a 1996
graduate of Rivercrest High School,
attending College at PJC, and is em-
ployed at the Paris WalMart
Supercenter.

menter moved Friday from their home
in Mount Pleasant to their newly
remodeled home in Joftnt^wfi, Wel-
come Back!!! Friday night they had
Martin and Billie McCaughlin of

Ladner of Midway as supper guests.
Saturday night Mark, Hana, Haley
and Heather Hawkins visited with
Douglas Hawkins to deliver birthday
gifts and cards to him.
Jana, Hana, Haley, Heather and
Robbie Hawkins visited with Steven,
Kathy, Ryan, Seth, Seton and Koren
Hawkins Friday night. Robbie and
Heather stayed to spend the night.
Heather and Koren Hawkins at-
tended the track meet Saturday at
Rivercrest in which Ryan Hawkins
was participant.
Haley, Seth and Seton Hawkins,
