Withdrawal Procedures Remain
Students have only five weeks to with-
draw from a class before the withdrawal
becomes a part of their permanent record.
According to Martha Miller, dean of
admissions, “If you decide to withdraw
from before the twelfth class day, then
there will be a two dollar withdrawal fee.
After the twelfth class day a student can
still withdraw with no extra charge.”
After five weeks the student may still
withdraw from a class, but the procedures
are more difficult. In this case he will
either receive a “WP,” or “WF”.
Miss Miller suggests if a student is
having difficulty, he or she should visit his
instructor. Stop by to see them when their
office hours are free.
“It is very important that students be
aware of the rule for dropping classes
according to the catalog,” said Miss
Miller.
